I obviously misread the stituation so Im asking what the issue is.

People are disappointed that someone has used quite blatant lies, fabrications and various other duplicitous methods to try and destroy the career and ultimately life of another person.
They are also disappointed that others have unquestioningly accepted her version of events without allowing JD to offer a defense.
It sets a very worrying precedent where a woman is automatically believed over a man despite evidence showing he was actually the victim in many instances.

I don't know that it will. Unfortunately there are too many people who will remain completely blinkered. You've just got to look at those supporting her, I mean her lies are blatant but they're still ready to fawn over her.

kick off starts at 2pm, expecting AH's team to rest their case, then its Depp's turn to bring the smack down (figuratively speaking, not literally, he'd defo lose if he did that).
Don't think so, just see some of the articles in the Indepedant..Some people are truely blinkered.
Yep, sadly the mainstream media are still ignoring the weight of evidence that Heard abused Depp, regardless of whether Depp did or didn't abuse her.

‘Countdown’ star shared her thoughts on the actor amid the ongoing defamation trial between Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard

This story focuses on Rachel Riley tweeting that she wouldn't wish Johnny Depp on her worst enemy. But it doesn't mention 90%+ of replies from the public were in support of Depp as a victim and against Heard as an abuser.

The media appear to be trying to both arse cover and appeal to those groups who are small but shout very loud.
