Thunderstorms - 2017

It's been! Amazing thunder. Lightning was only "ok". Wind / rain was impressive. Cleaned the roof off - Brought down loads of dirt . moss etc from the tiles. Good job!

Air pressures still giving me a headache though

Crap here in the Nth East, around Washington/Sunderland, only had one rumble at about 1pm, then it hammered down for about 10 mintues, and that was that.

Had a thunder clap right above my house this morning. Sounded like the second coming.

Anyone live in Calder Valley? Area is notoriously prone to flash flooding and the weather man on the BBC just said there have been flash floods in the North of England

Not 100% but guagemap shows no rise in the calder at 4PM.

I'm about 40 miles north of you and yeah, all we had was a brief downpour which has now completely evaporated.

we had a mental one this morning. 10am and it was CRAZY. Whole house shook and car alarms went off. Never seen my cats so fast!

Im quite annoyed... Everyone has seemed to had the storm but we've had Sun all weekend... I know I shouldn't moan but who doesn't enjoy a nice thunder storm
