Ahhh, so frustrated now. It's flashing at times 5-10 times in a second, every second, so much activity but from my vantage I can seen 0.001% of it. So close yet so far. The view from 150-200m from here must be amazing but, not safe probably. Stupid knees, if I had a car I'd be anywhere but here right now.

Was actually wondering if there were any live weather stations who broadcast, you'd think that would be something people would love. Found that, couple of strikes on it but not much. There is a Hastings pier cam, apparently installed in 1990 judging by the pixels and couldn't see any hint of lightning on it.
Still a couple of hits here too, but slowed down a lot, nice fork across the field from me. Thunder noise dropping off as well. guys in dover/folkstone are going to have a ridiculously good show tonight.

Still getting stuff around Pett, surprisingly despite the frequency in the area going down massively, the now quite rare strikes are some times north of Hastings so I can see them a lot better.
Would have been great if this happened next week, having people stay who drive and my damn water butts are being delivered this week so I could do with a storm after they get installed.

Crazy in Hythe! Tree's struck, buildings hit, shotgun bangs... One of the best storms in memory!!!
Might move onto my phone and turn off sockets, just in case.. Uploading video now. I'll link it then move.
