Had it for about 45 minutes about 5 miles north of Southampton, was out sitting on a chair in garden watching until the rain hit. I do love a good storm.

I love storms. but sadly they rare here in Leicester.

Was predicted storms for weekend but was dry all the way up until one hour ago and it was a light shower.

Thunderstorms on the forecast from 0000-0300 last night. Was woken at 0215 by a massive thunderclap. Fantastic...stayed awake waiting for the show. All we got was one more flash of lightning about 0245 with a disproportionately quiet thunderclap to follow, and that was it. Let down

Havent seen/heard a thunderstorm for as long as i can remember now. Was really hopefull when it went darkand started raining about 4pm yesterday but nothing

Had loads of rain last night and only one really appreciable thunder clap at 2am and that was. I was disappointed to see all the lightning move along the channel. ah well

Jealous of this last night, I am in colchester so we had a couple of strikes but seems we missed something epic. Never seen anything that busy over the UK before.

I was going to drive to the top of the hill, but getting struck by all these bolts was not worth the risk

Nice n sunny today, bit of cloud. My nan hates storms, because of the two wars, god only knows how she coped through this one.
