Time Spy Standard DX 12 Bench.

Just disabled my crossfire driver side, running the test again to see if explicit dx12 mgpu is working, doesn't look like it to me.

With crossfire enabled gfx score was 8111
With crossfire disabled gfx score was 4168

Anyone else with crossfire able to test?

I quess it checks if you have SLI or crossfire enabled. Afterall there has to be way to disable multigpu manually incase of problems.

Very good point

EDIT: Strange, says graphics driver not approved?! No idea why... Will try uninstalling and reinstalling latest new ones.

EDIT 2: Installed latest 16.7.2 now, and still says 'not approved', but also notice I'm not the only one in this thread with that message about my driver so guess it's OK! :P

I had a few of these myself and had higher scores that i could not use. Not sure what is up but this new bench seems to be quite sensitive to higher overclocks. I found running the bench again immediately after produced a stable but lower score. I was not able to do any cold runs with my benches unfortunately.

Suggests the OC is a bit on the limit I guess. There are some good OCs in the table. My 7870 seems to OC like a champ though - just did a bunch of 1210/1310 easily on stock volts (1847 - http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/13259026) - don't need to update the table though Kaapstad - bottom is bottom no matter the score :p

Very good point

i done a little reading on this yesterday , i was curious to see if i could mix and match gpus.
http://s3.amazonaws.com/download-aws.futuremark.com/3DMark_Technical_Guide.pdf (go to page 24/top of 25)

From my understanding both gpus have to be the same and linked either in xfire or sli .

"Time Spy uses explicit alternate frame rendering on linked-node
configurations
to improve performance on the most common multi-GPU
setups used by gamers today. MDA configurations of heterogeneous adapters
are not supported.
"

" linked-node (LDA) the programmer has access to and control over an
SLI/Crossfire configuration of similar GPUs through one device interface. LDA
enables some extra features over multi-node, such as faster transfers between"
GPUs

"multi-node (MDA) each GPU appears as a separate device, even if they are
similar and linked. With MDA, the programmer can control any and all GPUs
available in the system. But the programmer must explicitly declare which GPU
should execute the recorded work."
