Seems like the wattage is more than ample.

In terms of the AMD Athlon II X4 Quad Core 635 2.90GHz Processor, have you any ideas what this can effectively overclock to, and would it require additional fans?

If you're using the stock cooler, then you'd need to buy a new cooler. Depending on the type, you might need to buy extra fans to fit on it - some however, do come with fans.

Generally you're looking at a heatsink with two fans for the best performance.

On topic; the 460 is a good choice Paws X :)
