Anyone know if the film grain is being addressed shortly if it hasn't already? I'm never one to mention it normally, but in this game it's massively over done by default.

Can we turn it off in a ini file maybe ? did not notice any grain effect on console, is it not on console then ?

Yeah the film grain is bad but you can really limit it by turning down the brightness ingame.
Not a perfect solution I know, also in the initial patch notes they listed a film grain slider and later removed it from the notes as it didn't make this patch, this suggests they are working on it and it will come soon.

The time travel level reminded me of Time Shift - great game that must have had no marketing as nobody seems to have heard of it. Very underrated game but some of the time-switching (same as in Titanfall 2) was brilliant.

I played the whole campaign wihout noticing the film grain so when he complained about it I thought he was trolling.

It's there but I only see it when I am really looking for it and only in the dark sections of the game. Both IPS and high pixel density help mask it up.

The latest patch was supposed to add a slider to lower/disable the film grain.
however there was an issue and it didnt make it into the patch, it is planned to be in a "future patch" though... although thats not saying it will be in the next one

The trial isn't working for lots of people as origin is asking for a key. Wouldn't mind trying it even though I've refunded the game once for the film grain

i dont have tf2 because they gave some bs about not doing a beta for pc.played first one to death and tournes. was one of my fav games.

I've restarted it 3 times and I've never seen anything about it. Only on their website can i see anything about it.
