Titanfall 2

This game is ultra crap.


SP is brilliant but MP suffers the same weird mouse movement as the first one except worse.
It's playable but not playable. It's a true example of a console port with various options thrown in to make it 'look' like a PC game but it's ultimately pap and does not have the fluid movement a PC game needs with KB+M.

Input lag is the definition of this game, it has the same feeling as TF1 did after it's 4th patch when no matter what you did with vsynch it just felt like input lag was a feature.

Maybe PC gamers just settle for crap or are blissfully unaware these days but I'm highly sensitive to it and can't be doing with it at all.
More fool me for buying it after the mess the first one became I suppose but, I'll never buy another PC game by Vince/Respawn.
 
FYI Film Grain will soon be adjustable via slider, in fact it was in the patch notes but I've not found it yet! It doesn't really bother me though.

On the contrary I'd say this is the most fluid game I've played in terms of multiplayer FPS recently, certainly no complaints from me.
 
Another thing about MP...

It treats you like a child when you want to know latencies. Press TAB to see latency and it tells you your ping is good and what it's fluctuating between, that's it, no indicators for what the other players are. I mean, C'mon man, seriously? Folks are willing to accept that ?

Oh, woopee super duper, my ping is good....my ping don't mean squat.
That other guy's, now that may give an indication as to why things don't feel quite right but there's no way to know as it treats you like a child telling you that you have a good ping so everything must be A-OK :D
You couldn't make it up.
 
Is anyone still having trouble getting the trial? After i click the link to get the trial it just brings me to the buying page.

Something wrong with your PC because I have none of that.

I just copied and pasted this into the gamers translator.

It translates it to "I keep dying a lot and I mean a lot so its the games fault and everything else that goes with it"

Granted it was a bit more padded out than that but you get the gist.

Same here, game plays super smooth and fluid for me. You need to look at your side if you're having input lag etc

What are you, the global standard, the benchmark, the ISO for gamers?

Not a thing wrong with my rig, nothing at all.
Believe me when I say I'm experienced with Titanfall and adjusting it's poorly implemented settings, especially vsync. Seems the second one has carried the tradition.
I've done everything to counter it.

Well being as the general consensus is that it's a cracking game both MP and SP then he probably is the standard.

Like before we get it, you're not very good there is nothing wrong with that.

Clearly though it's not ultra crap, you might not like it but it's not ultra crap.
