TitanZ: delayed indefinitely?

Not sure who the TitanZ is aimed at with that price tbh. :p

All change :D

"Nvidia Corp. late on Thursday made the first official comment regarding availability of its dual-GPU flagship graphics card, the GeForce GTX Titan Z.

The company reassured its investors and financial analysts that the product would be available in the second quarter of its fiscal year, but did not provide any exact dates."

Probably working out if they can/should half the price of it and bring down the cost of the black.

One can wish.

295x2 is not aimed at someone like you though and neither is the TitanZ.

I'm not sure who the 295x2 is aimed at. On the one hand it has the premium price tag and the performance, but on the second one it has that god awful awkward cooler which makes it look out of place in any rig worth it's presence.

At least the Titan-Z is what it is...If you're daft enough to buy it that is :D

the funny part is there is no argument, you spend 1500$ on card to run it at stock speed with stock cooler ? then the reference is perfect for you, runs low temp, good frequency stable and low noise, good drivers makes it perfect for gaming.
you are an enthusiast who wanna push for benchs, you waterblock it like half the owners who has it now.
if you are a fashion victim, you usualy custom your case with accessories and color matching stuff, so they will change the cooler anyway, waterblock, or custum cooler.
dont like WAIO get the devil13 from powercolor air cooled, or wait for more custom cards

The god awful cooler which... cools 500W with two cores at 60C with decent overclocking headroom, has been shown to cool basically 650W, and does it near silently.....

Sorry but there are basically 2 or 3 people that insist on calling it along the lines of god awful in every post talking about the card and it's beyond ridiculous. There isn't a 220W+ card that is cooled as quietly or with as low temps, yet this card is cooling 500W.

It is without doubt a brilliant cooler, anyone saying otherwise is frankly ridiculous.

A radiator looks out of place in a high end rig, really? The waterblocks could be seen as less cool than a ek type block, but the radiator and fans look like.... a radiator and fans and are common place in high end rigs.

A card that has the best cooler available on a reference card to date, that blows any other single card away completely, and can have a third party waterblock added like any other high end card for a high end watercooled computer, failing to see the downside.

I agree with you it's a great cooler and Asetek have done a great job on it. However in response to the highlighted part, the Asetek cooled GTX580, GTX680OC and ASUS ARES (the last of which uses the cooler the 295x2 one was derived from) are all 220W+ and cooled just as well. The obvious trend there being they all use Asetek coolers too ofc, but just wanted to point them out for clarity.

God awful cooler that any Tom Dick and Harry could fit. Who wants a 120mm radiator on a dual GPU card? Do you run your cards on air DM? (I've asked you this multiple times but your own specification remains a complete mystery to the internet)

AMD can 'Red Mod'. Woopty doo. Frankly ridiculous to think of it as anything other than brilliant.

Do me a favour ^_^. Be honest here.

^ Who cares. It works and works well and having used one before i know full well how capable they are of silent cooling. I'm glad AMD went down that route. Much rather have that than some loud, hot air cooler which is not up to the job.
