guessing it's not going to have the best cooling / overclocking potential, but nice that it has a 0dB mode when idle. wonder how loud the fans get when in use though..

It actually looks rather thick (in Palit's tradition), I bet is a good one.
Ho can you say that? Even if you have 500 of them you might sell out long before 9am tomorrow.
Clearly if you have only 2, then that is relevant as it means people have to make their mind up very quickly.
Or are you saying you are pretty sure you have enough stock to last till 9am tomorrow no matter how many sells?????
Was showing 10+ (so hopefully there is atleast 10) in stock - I think the gist of his post though is that, that is the price you will pay if you order - when they come into stock if they do run out of stock and that the promotional price isn't capped to the first <n> units.

Think he means ordering before 9am tomorrow will guarantee you this price regardless of stock, (stock runs out you wait till more come in but still get it at the ordered price )
I dunno - for a lot of people it tips it over the edge for the max they would pay for a card in the 1070's position.
If you were thinking of buying a £360 card, I don't think you'd reconsider at £380. In other words, if you were the type to buy a £360 card, you'd already own a 1070.
So yeah, I can't see this having a massive impact on units shifted. But it is probably enough to divert some sales from competitors to OcUK, even for a short while.

£20 off a £150 product is a game changer; £20 off a £380 product is just a bonus. I don't think it's going to convince more than "a few" people to move to a 1070 -- if they weren't considering it before.

Indeed. I thought I was settled on one of the 1060s at around the £260 mark once in stock. But now for £100 extra there's this. It's more than I would normally want to pay for a GPU, but I just bought a new 1440p monitor so need something with decent grunt to drive it and wasn't entirely convinced the 1060 will do that moving forward.
Main thing holding me back on the Palit is the 2 year warranty, as I definitely would not intend to upgrade this within the next 3-4 years. Decisions decisions
