dont understand why people say linear games are bad, aside from witcher imo most open games are just filled with dull boring quests, most of the best games ive ever played have been linear, resident evil 4, god of war, uncharted, halo, most of these massive open world games are so over hyped (fallout 4) Id take a 15-25 hr linear game with a great story line over 100+ hours of same quests any day
It being linear is not actually the biggest problem I have with it, its the fact that its intentionally designed to not let you fail and ensures you are nearly always doing the right thing.
I understand the 'its been rebranded' thing but calling this a Tomb Raider game is a leap, it should have been called 'something else' starring Lara Croft.
