Top 5 Woke Hollywood DISASTERS of 2022

You forgot Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Lots of blacks, lots of women and a bisexual or gay character. That's the dictionary definition of woke, right?!?!

Edit: I think the bad guy was Hispanic. Quotas lol.

rp2000

And it was absolutely awful.

Horrible story line, awful acting, bad cgi, just a total awful movie.

Add The Sandman to the list, checked out after the first episode, It seems like anything outside of Spy/political dramas like Jack Ryan or Slow Horses, everything i watch has at least one gay character or couple, utterly fed up of it

...you think The Sandman was a disaster? It was great.

One gay person! You poor lamb.

White heterosexuals only please!

The lead writer/show runner wrote the best Rick and Morty episode (Pickle Rick) and one of the other writers is A) Male and B) wrote a bunch of marvel comic books.

Your argument doesn't describe how it was ruined by being "woke" either.

Unless your argument is that having women writing and directing is "woke"

From my understanding, it's less about who stars or directs but the story being changed to accommodate certain things. Saying that, it's clear some people do indeed have a melt down if the main character is "different ".

Something like the first interacial kiss on TV would be described as being "woke", but that happened on Star Trek TOS, or even a story about non-binary people in TNG. Yet it's Discovery that's "woke" but ultimately it tackles some of the prominent issues that people face today that the previous series did, but it's easier to lump everything you don't like as woke.

That said, I did think She-Hulk was rubbish. Girl power, she gets angry because of people checking her out and has no way of expressing herself. Yes ok.

That droid from Solo was pretty annoying too, and I'd deem that as wokeness being shoehorned in for no reason. Does a female droid need to be a feminist? What does it add to the story? Are the droids most people know, R2 and 3PO representative of the patriarchy or masculinity? Nope, they're their own characters with different personalities.

Problem is that people used to say that about main non-white characters many moons ago yet we don't care about that today.

I didn't like the show, but the gay characters were handled fine, they were just another couple in love. Other shows I do feel sometimes force the issue at the cost of the story.

Apprently about 50% of the characters is gay. Please don't speak about shows you don't even know about.

The show I've watched in its entirety and you dropped after 1 episode? No I know nothing about it.

Please don't speak about shows you don't even know about. Makes you look like an idiot
Indeed.

I don't like it when they use non-white characters when it's obviously not appropriate, mostly in historical or period dramas and the BBC are the most guilty of this. It's gone so far that you get stupidity like this:

It gives a flase impression of history and i've now come across black people who now question if Anne Boleyn was white, it's warping reality in people's heads

Indeed.
I obviously know far more about it than you do, after the first episode i did some research to see if was worth continuing and after finding out the details i checked out. You've just been called out and trying to throw some strawman's out there, wind your neck back in and accept the L

Yes, you know far more about me by watching 1 episode and googling, than me watching 11 episodes of the show.

Well done.

You've just been called out and trying to throw some strawman's out there, wind your neck back in and accept the L

Ha, that you think this is a win (on the internet no less) is incredible.

With the exception of Christopher Nolan, Hollywood seems to be completely out of original ideas. It's all just Marvel nonsense, reboots and other crap.

Where are all the cool sci-fi films like Interstellar or Inception?

Nolan's next film will be this year about the development of the first nuclear bomb, not exactly sci-fi but it'll be pretty cool anyhow. And the MCU are desperate after the woke disaster that's Phase 4, their's rumors they're going to bring back RDJ somehow.
