Top Gear Is Back!!

Is it me or has volkswagen taken a step back with the fox  . I mean they are pretty poor quality for VW's while the old lupo looked funky and their not even that small. They look like mk3 drab polos (or even a mini sharan :p ) being about the same size and have a 90's dashboard.

Yeah, I wasn't impressed when I had a nose around one - VW must be making huge margins on them... and what with it being a small VW, it'll sell well too :(

P2 = nasty....
Saw it at Autosport and was not impressed.

However - Captain Slow.... isnt....

Also Fox Vs Aygo... :D I'd still take the Aygo.

Less amusing episode this week, but better than bigbrother!

How do they fund the "car football"? Do the manufactures give them the cars? Seems a wee bit expencive to me, or am i wrong?

That was a better ep. Less cocking around and more proper stuff. Shame it's getting laid up for the World Cup :-(

LOL @ Gambon.

I'm taking issue on the slagging the Skoda got. Then again I've 12000 reasons to be biased.

The Fox is just a cheaply made South American import that's not been fixed to European taste. I'd rather have an Aygo, and I like my VAG cars....

It's a lot cheaper than a 10 minute advert would cost to make and air, especially at peak time :)

"i think i've broken my metatarsel"

LOL :D

i wasn't really impressed with the lap thing in the tuscan. everyone knows james may is a slow driver. so by giving him some tips, he would obviously knock a lot of seconds off. if jezza or hammond were to do it, i doubt they will knock 20 off.

That Fox is very boring looking, id rather have the Aygo.

No TG for 5 weeks, what am i gonna do on Sunday nights :(

Watch the world cup you big puff! :D

Sorry master... :o

The episode reminded me of an OcUK motors thread.

A comment of "Mondeo is actually a cool car" coupled with several appearances of a Fox.

a lot more like Top Gear this episode, wasn't as funny as the previous episodes though.

The whole point of a Volkswagen is a good dash. Get rid of that and it is pointless. Aygo = a lot better. :)

Not a bad episode, that Gambons well funny, when he said he just lie's in interviews as he can't stand em, thought that one he was telling about when he played Oscar Widle was hilarious, "i used to be a homosexual", "i had to give it up as it made my eyes water", and the guy just wrote it down. :D

The footy was mint, id love to have a go of that, be a right laugh, and that P2 looked cracking, i can't believe they aint gona make it though!!!.
