Top Gear returns on Sunday 27th June at 8pm

Well, I thought it was brilliant. I love the stupid format of the skits they do, scripted or not.

If I wanted serious car talk, i'd watch Fifth Gear.

Not a bad episode. The interruption in the Bentley lap was annoying and in no way funny. Other features were OK and glad to see Hammand didn't feature much.

Hammond has become a joke. All he does now is say something, then do his raised eyebrow look at the camera.

IMHO he needs to go, he brings very little to the show.

the first roll of the reliant was tv genius, i totally didn't expect it, i thought he was simply going to drive it like he did the bubble car. when he made the front lift was very funny aswell. rest of the episode wasn't the best though

Agree with that, i find hammond very tiresome. As said above he went weird after that accident, and continues to get weirder and weirder.

All in all i enjoyed the show, 10pm didnt bother me, perfect time for a show like this as i generally watch it in bed anyway.

New top gear isn't as good as the old top gear reruns on dave but it's still better than 90% of everything else on TV.

I missed half of the last series as I just found my attention wandering during the show, I'm not sure if you can put that down to predictable humour / scripting etc, I just didn't find myself gripped to the show like I did a few years ago.

Last nights episode was ok-ish I guess, some funny moments with the 'rolling' reliant which got a little thin after a while, all in all watchable, but not outstanding in any way really.

I thought it was brilliant, as always, but the only downside was Hammond as described above.

Still though, it's not as good as seeing the same usernames appear week after week on internet forums whinging that it's not the same and they won't watch it anymore...only to come back the next week and put themselves on repeat :D

Did not even consider watching the new series, I was put off by the last one.

That said, I caught the last few minutes with the Reliant and decided to watch it on iPlayer.

Enjoyed it, good show, impressed.

Lets hope it keeps up. :)

when Hammond had his white shirt on he reminded me sooo much of rik mayall in bottom now his hair is long

The speed at which he rolled the Robin was the best part about it.

Extreme lulz for rolling it at the enthusiasts meet :D
