Out of curiousity, what episodes of 'Top Gear' do you like?
 
Really good episode. Obviously I remember when Senna died years ago. There appears to be a lot of love for the guy, even though it felt at times a bit forced. Faked as well because of the fact he died, and how he died. My understanding of F1 is limited, but I remember all the fury surrounding Michael Schumacher when he crashed into Damon Hill years ago, yet in an almost identical incident there's little hate for Senna years ago.
 
AmI the only freak that (as well as the pure entertainment of it) loves watchign the camera work and editing?

That bit last week with teh AMG in the rain and that last long shot was epic!
 
V+'d it and fast forwarded through everthing apart from the Veyron and Senna parts.

I've now watched the Senna part 3 times now, so many heroes in motorsport, so much history to amaze and fascinate those of us who were priveleged to see it and those of us who weren't.

more of that stuff please TG ;)

That Veyron is something else, I love the way that speedo climes, reminds me of Knight Rider.
 
It was quick showing up on iPlayer for once! :D The Ice 'Race' made me chuckle, 'They can go cross-country..' cue a wide shot showing where they'd already done a few 'takes' of the 'Race' from the tracks in the snow :D

I suppose making Tom Cruise No.1 makes sense, more likely to get him back in the future, or maybe he really did do that time... ;)

To this day I can remember flicking the TV between BBC and Eurosport in complete disbelief when Senna died, BBC wouldn't show much but Eurosport showed him being treated on the track, could tell he was dead :( Sad, sad day.
 
Along with the Peru special episode that is easily the best TG episode I have seen in ages. The Senna bit was truly special, I actually thought the Hammond bit at the start was pretty good, it's always cool to see the Veyron and despite what I've heard about Cruise before he actually seems like a pretty cool guy.

SIARPC - Not as bad as I was expecting - Only a little pimping.
Senna and MP4/4 - awesome. Can't wait for the documentary film.

I was only 8, and didnt really follow F1 properly other than to know that Mclarens were white and red, Williams were yellow blue and white, and Nigel Mansell has a moustace. I dont think I really know who Senna was, but to this day I can remember that weekend. Ratzenburger dying the day before, Senna dying in the race, and the shot of him on the strecher on the side of the track, and then the following race when both front grid slots were left blank and painted with each drivers flag.

Strange how things stick in your mind.
 
i cant see why people are saying that ep was as good as the "specials" ones... the porsche thing nearly made me turn it off :/ and the star in a car was alright, but meh guests.

veyron was mental though.
