The last international special was the same with the lorries, the first episode was slow and the 2nd one was epic.

Still great TV either way, nice to not have too much slapstick comedy in there :)

For those of you that would like a copy to keep whenever you want - google get_iplayer. It's a very handy little app.

My apologies if that breaks the rules, but it doesn't circumvent any kind of DRM or copy protection as iPlayer doesn't use any.

I didn't think there was much to the episode but my god, those views and roads. Every time there's a Top Gear overseas trip I add another country and location to the list of places I want to ride my bike. Of course, my subsequent Go Pro videos won't benefit from the same post production and helicopter / drone film support, but this is certainly yet another stunning location.

Meh, pretty slow and boring first part to this, the second part does look a lot more entertaining though so fingers crossed they just didn't show the best bits in the preview.

They didn't draw to the numberplates at all or even put the number plates on the camera shot that much either. If that's what you're referring to.

My thoughts exactly. I wondered if we'd see something that would explain the reaction that they got but from this episode I don't think they did anything to justify what happened to them. There was certainly not enough shots of the Porsche's number plate to suggest they knew about it's potential hidden meaning. The only thing that I noticed was Jeremy's reaction to the road sign and saying he was doing a straight face but then that was opposite to what you'd expect he'd have said if Top Gear knew about the number plate and took it out there deliberately. If that's what he's referring to. :p

They did focus on the plate, first thing I noticed... Still the show has gone to **** I can't watch more than 20min and change over or flick to the end. :(

Did i miss something? I havent seen the episode yet, but wouldnt have all the post processing have been done back here in the UK? Meaning that they could have edited out 99% of the numberplate shots and any references to them. It would have been easy enough to edit the whole footage to show them in a better light. That being said, im looking forward to seeing the Christmas Special.
Im also looking forward to seeing their take on Darwin when they were up here filming a couple of months back.
