It began with a fairly good feature on the new vet and la Ferrari, I made a drink during olly murs segment and sat down to enjoy the rest of the show.. however I was treated with some boring, slap stick buffoonery that was less interesting than watching a rerun of dads army for the 40th time.

Its like they had a production team meeting and decided, yes people like us crashing cars into one another but could not actually think up of an midly amusing or interesting way to do it so literally just drove around like fools trying to be funny.

was a waste of time for me.

Says the Peugeot owner :p

Its three guys messing around with cars, that IS top gear now, like it or not :p

This feature was exactly that, three guys, messing around with cars. The cars they smashed up were utter junk so there is no care for whether they were damaged or not, they probably went for scrap after the feature.

I suspect all cars there were for scrap, they also damaged the road furniture too... The rest of the show was enjoyable and I particularly liked the first bit of the pug feature going through their history.

It's pointless destruction that negated any amusement factor it may have once had. It reeked of desperation..
Are you new to TG?

It has always been like this, always:

Series TWO (2003) ep 1: Drag racer jet engine incinerates Nissan Sunny
Series Three (2004) ep5: Is the Toyota Hilux really indestructible?
etc etc.

It's nothing new, and their 'desperation' has made it one of the BBC's most profitable exports (for heaven's sake!)
