Man when I saw the Porsche, Ferrari & McLaren together in the studio I thought Wooo 3 way shoot out!... such disappoint :(

Bugatti pulled the same crap with Veyron didn't they, it took a couple of years before TG got hold of one (customer car?) to put around the track?

It probably is rubbish but the way the segment started it looked as if they were going to say that Peugeot were back making good cars again rather than farting about with an extended filler bit, that's all I was saying. :)

Oh i agree, i thought they were going to end it with the 208 GTi saying they are back on the right track, but im nort sure how much love the 208 GTI got from Top Gear. Especially considering the love for the ST and the fact the 208 GTI is a bit soft and chic for a supermini hot hatch.

I enjoyed it, but i found the Peugeot part was a bit wasted, it would have been more interesting if they had focussed more on the history of the company rather than farting around crashing into everything (even though it raised a couple of smiles) It actually started off interesting too, i never knew they made munitions for example, i felt that they were going to come up with a 'however' part, i.e, they were going to turn around again with the 208 Gti.

Gutted there wasn't a shoot out between the three hyper cars, but fair play to Porsche for not trying to block any race, i'd still prefer the McLaren over the three just for the looks.

Hmmm, i still can't make up my mind between the Porsche Caymen and the 'vette, the four tail pipes in a row looks daft imo, 2 either side would have been better even though it is done to death.

Overall, it has beent he best series in a long while for TG, and there's still a good few episodes left to look forward to.

Peugeot bit needed to be a little more clever with the humour - was funny for about 5 minutes but then it was just over the top pointless crashing into things.

All we need now is Peugeot to announce a 208 gti Nurburgring edition with some some black and white cow stickers as a come back

Even so, the topic wouldn't have come up if they were all happy having their cars tested at the track. It's a shame really considering that all 3 reviews by TG have been glowing and clearly each car is fantastic.

Great bit of press for Porsche though, who obviously aren't so precious.

I reckon the Porsche would take it anyway.
Enjoyed the episode, Peugeot bit dragged on a bit more than it needed to tho.

As a 208gti owner I found the Peugeot section highly offensive....I'm only half as bad as they make out Peugeot drivers to be. :p:eek::o

In all seriousness I was a little excited thinking they were going to wrap it up by saying they've got things back on track with the above as an example. I was left a little sad lol.

Do you sometimes manage to not crash into your house ;)

The french car bit made me miss my s1 106 rallye, regret not buying a miami blue 309 gti a few years back but has motivated me to get my 205 gti-6 out the garage and back on the road

That Peugeot bit was filmed literally down the road! The field he crashed into I used to film the start of my power tour video with the Corvette haha. Bizarre to spot a field and recognise it haha. It's actually a private road/driveway to a farmhouse
