BBC said bad things about our car so we aren't advertising with you.

I highly doubt that would ever actually happen. People don't advertise on TV because they want to give money to the network, they do it to reach an audience that they think hangs out there.

Sky has more than enough money and others could find it. As they know what insane money it makes world wide. The issue however is advertising and it wouldn't work elsewhere. TG said bad things about our car so we aren't advertising with you.

Most car companies seem to react well to criticism on TG. Look at the flack they have given Vauxhall and then they donate a couple for SIARPC.

Can't see them sacking him, he is big money earner for them and Clarkson himself owns some sort of the TG branding or something, they will kiss and make up, he probably just chatted up the producers wife.

I believe he sold his share a few years back - hence he can't simply take Andy Wilman and the others and run with the name, the BBC own Top Gear.

Seriously? Does Hammond not completely do your head in?

No because they are playing the three characters from a sit com - the bumbling oaf (May), the village idiot (Hammond) and the over opinionated politically incorrect one (Clarkson). It opens up for some entertaining scripts to be written.

You're not suggesting ... it's scripted!?

;)

The BBC bought the 50% of Bedder 6 that it didn't own. Clarkson and Wilman controlled 50% between them. By buying up the other 50% share the BBC guaranteed 100% of the profits from sales and merchandise.
