Will this be the end for Clarkson and TopGear? D:
I highly doubt it will be, but i guess it depends on what he's actually done.
I think Chris Harris is doing what every car enthusiast wishes they were doing, and fair play to him he seems to know what he is talking about.

Off course not, the only reason this weekend has been canned, is the studio bit is filmed during the week, which he can't do if helps suspended.
 
Not sure why Chris Harris seems to get brought into the conversation a lot. I've noticed a few places online that seems to have a bit of a hard on for him. I like his reviews, he's clearly good at what he does but it's a totally different ball game...league...whatever to TG and what the current presenters bring to the table.
 
thats why people reference him, because he does the whole serious car comparison thing that some expect top gear to be.

When people get upset about the fact top gear is just a show about the 3 presenters messing about and cracking jokes with some cars thrown in, people point to chris harris as something more what they might be looking for.

I think he would be awful in the current TG setup, he doesn't or rather wont be able to pull off the immature slapstick personality or even the looks to fit in that role. I see Harris as a more mature and serious type of personality.
 
The BBC will mess up any investigation, just like they have all other recent efforts. They'll cave to the Daily Mail readership and the TG format will end up reappearing on another channel in a year's time. W1A anyone?
