Top Gear: Series 19

really enjoyed it. the subabru was relentless and some stunning scenery. for old blokes, they really put themselves through the mill.

Overall pretty good I think, next week looks better with more focus on the 'exploring'. The only low point for me really was the overly daft mods for a few cheap jokes and nothing more.

Maybe i'm just looking back with rose tinted specs but in previous specials the mods at least tried to appear like they'd be useful, such as putting on massive wheels and suspension in Bolivia. Funny when it didn't work still but not quite as cheap feeling as 'oh dear all the cups fell out the cupboard'.

Only cars produced after September 2001 have auto lights. You can easily spot them because they got the newer style Sport steering wheel at exactly the same time.

Was that era 328 actually a 2.8?

Enjoyed that, next week looks more focused though. Thought the map reading bit starting with the shot of the kettle on and then whilst Clarkson read the map the crackling rain on the paper got louder, would result in the Subaru ending up on fire!

Next week's isn't as good. I'm not at the front of the audience in my blue jacket.. :D

NB. I haven't actually seen next weeks. Thought this weeks was awesome though, great season overall if a little short.

Solid, funny in parts with some stunning scenary, I'll go with this, as at least they haven't ****** about like int he India one... twas good, but that Scooby is awesome for £1500 notes... might pick one up myself now lol

I really like this ep (well, the parts that I saw). Predicted that May would arrive in a Volvo, you just knew he would!

What made this episode great was some of the little snippets, like the guys on the moped with the sheet of wood (or something) and the name of the place that they went to for 'breakfast'.

Wonder just how long it took them to build those cars? That's the point at which I had to stop watching, just as May was talking about his library :D

that Scooby is awesome for £1500 notes... might pick one up myself now lol

Exactly what I was thinking, doubt you'll find one for under £2k after that episode!
