Does anyone know if the full eclipse will have already occurred when looking from Newcastle? I can see a small section of moon, but i'm not sure if the eclipse has passed or not.

i thought id missed it, my bro in-law sent me a email saying it was at 8.16, and it was almost gone. i thought bugger i missed it.

turns out... it was just starting yey.
so i took about 200-300 in raw,

specs,
various settings...
canon 400d
sigma 70-300 lens
shot in raw, large

lol im from newcastle... I think it reached full cover a few mins ago

My attempt with my p&s, kodak v530.

ISO 80
8 secs exposure.
The camera will set everything auto when you select long-exposure, cant change anything, but it still came out OK i think.

ISO 200, F8, 1/200 to 3 seconds exposure.

It's actually clear here in Belfast but I can't see the moon! Maybe i'm mistaking it for a street light or something
