:D Its meant to be because light is being refracted by the Earth's atmosphere to the moon, only the red spectrum from the rest visible spectrums are getting through. Hence it looks red :)

Lol I was just confused as everyones pic is bright white :o

EDIT: was.

bugger me that moons hard to take a photo of... it just came out dark unless i added stupidly high exposure times... with no tripod and it being near freezing outside.. kinda hard :P - oh ya and im only wearing a t shirt lol

i managed to snap 153 shots up worth 1214mb! :O
i will upload the propper ones! the ones i got up before are just the crappy pics just to show you all that have silly clouds in the way!

Very clear night and the stars are looking good. Seen Lunar eclipses before, but this is a very good one.

Been out there for a while now and once my eyes got used to the light, I was able, for the very first time to make out a very faint smudge running across the sky. I was quite chuffed when I realised it was the Milky Way. Not bad, considering I live in the middle of town.

A question for one for the more committed star gazers armed with a telescope or bino's. Is the second bright 'star' to the upper right of the Moon, Saturn? I know it's up in that part of the sky somewhere tonight, just not sure where exactly.
