I think they've made good signings, but 3rd is a little optimistic. I can see a good run for 4th though.
Spurs are rich because they're a London club who were very successful when the baby boomers were growing up. Spurs have a large fanbase of rich supporters.
Just look at how much Spurs charge for tickets. My season ticket is now £862 a year!
Don't forget our Kayman Island-based owner is a multi-billionaire too.
I don't see Arsenal as a threat to us anymore tbh.
Spurs have nothing on Arsenal, especially if they make some decent signings too. The beat you home and away in the Prem (Yes yes I know you beat them in the Carling Cup)
1. Bringing in the players - Woodgate, Modric, Dos Santos. These players have claimed that Ramos was instrumental to their arrival at Spurs.
2. Tactics - Unlike the typical Jol 'Bring a sub on in the 70th minute' Ramos is making subs which will actually affect the game and as has been said by Keane, King etc. his motivation along with Poyet before big matches is the thing that is pushing them that little further to get results.
3. Youth Chances - Under BMJ, the reserves didn't get much in the way of a run of games but with Ramos, we have seen O'Hara become a regular in the first team and players like Archibald-Henville and Taarabt also getting their chances to impress
4. Deciciveness - Ramos done something Jol wouldn't. He dropped Robinson. Cerny then put in performance after performance until he also began to make blunders, which then gave Robinson his spot back. This shows that he is a fair manager and will make you work for your spot in the first team.

I wouldn't be suprised if they are European Champions in 2 years, they are that good.
47 Years without a League title, speaks volumes.
Not sure why Spurs are settling for 3rd. They should easily win the league next year.
Still clinging on to that old one You may want to mention your Euro titles whilst at it
Arsenal 2-1 win in December showed that we closing the gap. We were desperately unlikely and made a side chasing for the title look pretty average. That said, its games like that that shows class when a club can turn a bad performance into a win.
We have been linked with bucket loads of defenders. The latest link is Carlos Cuellar of Rangers, and Gordon Durrie has come out in the press today and stated that they feel Rangers will not be able to resist the financial pull of Spurs as we are also in for their keeper.
In addition to this, we have been heavily linked with Richard Dunne (he was due a medical) and Jar Jar of West Ham.
There are also a couple of Spanish defenders too, but I cannot remember their names, Jarque I believe was one.

We were ridicuously unlucky in 2005. Will never forget that end of season game.
