Tottenham will get 3rd BOTTOM next season

Actually Jol's points per game in the premiership is better if you look at it their first 'part' season.

What the hell are you talking about?

Jol (04/05):
P27 W11 D6 L10
Points: 39

Ramos (07/08):
P27 W10 D9 **
Points: 39

Add in the cup games and Ramos' record is better.

Remember that Jol had Carrick and fully fit King.

I think everyone was ashamed at the way Daniel Levy handled the sacking of Jol. At the same time, I can see the motive behind it. The first time Levy sacked a manager (Hoddle), we spent the best part of a season floating aimlessly with no manager in place. Levy was obviously keen to avoid that happening again. I'm sure the season tickets didn't want that to happen again either. Hence he approached Ramos very early.

Ramos is a better manager than Jol. His track record speaks for itself.

I hope Jol is very successful at Hamburg and buys a few of our duff players off us too. :)

dos santos and vela are best mates.

Only reason dos santos has gone to spurs is so he can be near vela as hey go out together partying quite a lot

Duff players from a squad that was good enough to challenge for champions league this season? Who are these players? Jenas, Lennon, Huddlestone? All the players that everyone was raving about 18 months ago but now all Spurs fans hate them after a few misplaced passes.

I see Ricardo Moniz, one of your (only) world class coaches has buggered off to join Jol at Hamburg as well. You had a whole god damn football focus basically dedicated to him, looks like he was mightily impressed with Ramos and what happened earlier this season.

I was thinking more Prince-Boateng, Younes Kaboul and Lee Young Pyo.

And please, find a post on OCuk from 18 months ago praising Jenas. I'll each match the original poster's £40 bet if you do. ;)

Mock all you want, we still won some silverware... more than you've managed for about 3 years now ;)

still partying after winning the "no-one gives a rats a** cup" i see......just LOL.

we dump on liverpool but at least they can win a cup worth winning, you lot can't even advance in the poor cousins version - see the gap? (think grand canyon).

Oh there are posts praising Jenas, mabye not from spurs fans though.

He is the most limp wristed player ever.

A quote praising Jenas from a Spurs fan.....

Jenas is a good box to box midfielder who has come on leaps and bounds since arriving at WHL. He is English (but Arsenal fans wouldn't know too much about good English players now would they). He made a mockery of Arsenals alleged inspirational and best centre back on a glorious evening at WHL in a Cup Semi-Final that apparently no-one cares about (because their team didn't win it) but felt it necessary to drop their usual reserve squad to play a lot of first team players in it.

That a good enough quote of praise for you?

oh, and I don't care if your not an Arsenal fan :D

Aye, Arsenal are in desperate need of a CB. It's all fun and games being linked with these midfield/attacking threats but I'd much prefer to be seriously linked with a CB or 2 ..

I still think a top 5 place is ours, possibly even take Arsenals place in the CL. Ramos has cleared the rubbish and bought some decent players. Outside the top 4 (so to speak) we are next most abitious club, although others I'm sure will have opposiong views on that.

I think a top 4 is highly unlikely, you were so far away last season and have sold one of your best players. You've bought in some very expensive players none of which are world beaters. Dos Santos is completely unproven, same with Modric and Bentley is overrated. Then you have Arshavin coming in for mega bucks again who no one else wants. You still have no DM and a pair of sicknotes at CB. 1 striker of note who happens to be a moody sod. UEFA cup spot is realistic to think you'll be challenging the top 4 is a little optimistic.

I'd have thought you would have learnt from last year ;), don't expect Arsenal to keel over as they have quality throughout which will see them pushing the top 2 again.

Which betting site can i put some cash on based on predicted table finish? I was thinking top 5 is worth a flutter...
