Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

CNR SP 11p, bid+ ask at 8.5/9p. Err.

edit - ah there you go, back to 8.5p.

Does anyone know why this happens? Is this more MM SP manipulation to trigger auto sales etc..?

the AIM is driven on anticipation. the news wasn't good so people are selling. but if you believe in the company and the fundamentals you bought into originally when you researched what they had to offer then now is a great time to top up as it will recover in the future.

if you are concerned about a retrace here and there trading might not be for you ;). cnr was ramped up a lot on anticipation of great results. look @ desire. i think cnr will be fine though in the long term.

CNR are dropping a lot 7p sell now.

Down 30% today, not worried though as I only have a small holding that I got at 3.3p.

Nearly sold EO. to top up earlier today. Good job i didnt as EO. have just gone up 11% and CNR dropped more

OTC, HER, KEFI, and EDL all look interesting as well as CNR.

So many miners, so little spare cash.... :/

all of those were a lot more interesting when they cost next to nothing. i got into OTC @ around a penny. HER 2p on the retrace a month ago. KEFI I didn't buy but they always looked good.. and EDL @ under 0.9.

CNR looked great @ 1.5p a few months back. Not so much anymore :)

best thing is to look for these before they get on people's radars.

Oh, I had invested in other things (and got lucky) and then sold them - those two are just what I have shares in at the moment. :)

I'm Wondering at what price I should sell BP. I bought 4k worth at £4.35 now it's up to £4.91. How high will it go?

Edit: I know no one knows the answer to that lol. Just wondering about opinions. Do people think it should get up to it's high point of £6 again over the coming months?

Did they restore/pay the dividend?

Only sell if you need the money or see a better investment elsewhere. Shares always go up and down, I am guessing you didn't have an exit point in your mind when you bought them?

Potentially, one US broker has $58 target price which is about £6.20.

Personally I can see them going up more, especially once the dividend comes back and a few quarters results come through. £4.90 is a good buy still.

Yeah nice day for MTV.

"Based on projected PE ratios for the Media Sector and for the Small Cap
sector and possible premiums to each of these, we suggest a target price
range of between 1.32p and 2.54p per Motive share. This includes the
value of estimated cash balances."

Valuation written in Oct 2010, going to be a very interesting year.
