Treefrog Card signing / get well soon wishes

Think it needs to be more Treefrog centric than that. I'm sure he's missing us, I doubt he's missing the GD spam :p
 
Would this be in time for the Rolling Road Motors Meet? as there's quite a few people going to that. I think that regional meets may be better, with a big card for each area, which are then sent to a central location?

You seriously need to think about setting a close deadline Will, we want this to get to him ASAP

Wouldn't it be worth considering just taking email subbmissions, people could sign and scan then you just colour print and cut and paste them to a big card.

Time wise this is a critical point for Jims recovery and the quicker he gets the card the better

Just a thought. Its nice to have meets but it could take quite a while to organise.

That could work... but I'd rather send you something in the post, then it will be handwritten. If we do it sooner rather than later, cant see that being a prob, timescale wise I mean :)
 
Once we've got a card organised - hopefully by this afternoon then we can set a date which will be very soon. Daz and I are willing to accept email submissions as and when people want to send them. I think taking the card around to let us say Essex would be nice for people who want to sign it. The scrapbook can be sent sooner. I agree I want to card to get to him ASAP - but wouldn't it be nicer if it had the most messages in it as possible? Obviously the scrapbook we can get sorted as soon as we receive the submissions. By the sounds of things Jim is going to be in hospital a while (:() so the card getting to him a bit later with more personal touches would be nicer IMO.

Its your call, however you are talking about a month until he gets it if you bring it to Essex which is quite a while, personally I think the speed outweighs the impact of having it personally signed, but its a mod team decision at the end of the day. Its not too hard for people to hand write things and then scan them and Jim knows that we are distributed all over the country.

Maybe I'm just being dense, but it would be better to get this out ASAP, like within the next week. It really shouldn't be hard to manage it. If nothing else, at least get the scrapbook done on this kind of time scale, then send the card when folks have had a chance to sign it.

If not I'd far rather send a card directly than have to wait so long for him to get any amount of best wishes from us.

I will still travel to where ever necessary to sign the card personally as long as it's before the 10th of July
 
The general consensus seems that we ought to get this out ASAP in this case we shall see what we can do. Daz is sorting out the card - and a scrapbook is easily done. So get sending people so we can add to it!
 
Where are you thinking of lettings signings happen? Essex? That's a little far from me, tough can always just send an e-signing. You could have a stopoff signing in Birmingham too, well all dependant on how much time you have to do signing sessions I guess too, I'm sure it's a good central area for people to come to a pub or something, drop in and sign before it goes off to him.
