Trusted CD Key Sites.

G2Play - the pioneers of the gray key market.

Bought Anno 2070 + expansion from them - keys delivered within 5 minutes with no problems.

Also bought a couple of Borderlands 2 keys from Simply Games for 11.99 a piece that work perfectly.

I bought a key from IntKeys about 10 this morning for NFS:MW, an email with a pic of a game and CD Key came through about 1 O'Clock. First time I've used anything like this but I refused to pay 40 on Origin for it. Pleased with the service and would probably use them again.

see some of the sites tell you to use a Russian VPN, anyone ever use it?
wouldn't mind getting borderlands 2 for £13ish

Edit : after some google don't seem like a good idea :(

First time I've used one of these sites.

I used Ultimatum Game Keys (UGK) - www.ultimatumgamekeys.com

Bough Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. Got the key in 10 minutes, but Steam notifies me the key had already been used by another user... great. That's the last time I touch one of these sites...

I just used CJS for black ops 2 and it's a dupe too like Caff has :( Opened a ticket 4 hours ago, no response yet.

To be fair they have responded quickly to me - they asked me to send them a screenshot of the error window in front of my games library showing the steam account name.

Either they supply a new key, or a refund, but either way I'm not touching these discount key sites again.

I've used Play-SC 3 times now....1st two times the keys came within a few hours....the 3rd time nothing came for days and no responces to my emails, meant I had to request my money back through paypal, to which I finally got my money back, but no communication from them at all....so I paid full price for it with steam.

Even though its cheap, surely this is only 1 step above piracy from a moral standpoint, considering these companies usually buy their stock from remote countries that get it cheaper because the economy is far weaker, thus trashing the UK market and costing the games companies lots of £.

I deal with similar companies in the IT industry, also known as brokers or grey importers and vendors absolutely hate them!

Agreed, I'm never doing this again. It can only hurt gamers and the industry.

Still waiting for a response...

No me neither.....I thought they were just getting good prices (sales etc) as they were on google shop.....only when I had an issue did I read into how they work and thought, they are just grey importers of CD keys.

May as well just pirate the games if you are going to go down this route....save yourself a £10 as minimal money will be going back to the game devs/publishers.

I do not want to start some controversy here, but all this talk about gray imports I can not see it being anything like piracy as surely the CD Keys are taken out from a sealed copy of the game I do not mind if a site purchases these keys from a country with a low economy/weak currancy compared to the pound/dollar and sells them for a slight profit that's business in my eye's, fact is if shops sold the game's 25-30% cheaper then they do then us buying the games would buy from a bricks and mortar high street store not online.

Have now logged a Paypal dispute as I'm really not happy about being sold an activation key that's been used by someone else. It stinks of something bad - either bulk selling of "lists" of keys or other dodgy behaviour.

I'm all open to a free market and discounts on Steam or other digital purchases, but my experience has really annoyed me.

[edit]

Suddenly they've replied with a new functioning key. It doesn't change my opinion of these companies though.
