Doh!Would the remote work with the door closed?
Mr bon it may be worth looking at the Abit ip35 if you want to build the system now, its the P35 board that is most often recommended and with good reason. QUOTE]
Just wondered which of the Abit IP35 boards you'd recommend? Is it just a case of e-SATA & micro-GURU for the IP35 pro ?

Also, if you want a keyboard go for the one you suggested, the Aurora brushed aluminium, I just got one with my new build and I love it, best keyboard I have owned.
Doh!
But Logitech make some USB based remotes
EDIT: Thermalright Ultra-120 fan not included & you'll need that![]()

what do you think the answer to that question is?Do they let you step-up to a different brand, if he chooses to get a new ati card (new nvidia cards are going to cost the earth)
I think he meant this one Abit IP35 Pro
I think I'm going to go with the IP35, and not the pro version, as I don't see a need for the PCI-e, and can't see any other benefits for the extra cash outlay.
With the Quad-Core you can not get away with no fan, well at least not for very long. But with that beefy cooler you can use a low spinning (= virtually silent) one. Make sure you get something with 4-pins A.K.A. PWMWell I suppose a fan is better than no fan...right?
its Pulse Width Modulation, its another way of controlling the speed of a fan. 3 pin is ok thoWhats PWM.
None of the Noctua's are 4 pin![]()

Cheers for that excellent info guys. much appreciated.
Ok so I will bin the Raptor. Get only the new Samsung F1's
wait for the P45 chipset board
wait for new gfx cards to come out and see prices
I would buy an Evga 8800 GT and use there 90 Day Step-up/upgrade programme when next gen cards come out next month
Omg why do people spend so much on a case? I would get a cheaper card and put in a sound card.
Just a thought, is that the same with the Tuniq Tower? Because everytime I see this heatsink. No one uses a fan...
