Tueday Carling Cup Spoilers

Yeah Jeff Winter is his name. Really annoying when he's on SSN as you said. Steve Bennett annoys me the most at the moment. It is difficult for them though. We ask them be strict and then the week after we want them to show some common sense. Something they can't do if they have to go by the book. I wouldn't want to be a ref. Maybe that's why we have these bad ones. There's nobody else applying to be one!

cant stand the bloke, he's thinks he's like a celebrity ref (he refed on superstars!) always showing his face on the tele when any dodgy decisions are in the news yet he was just as bad a ref as the blokes he's usually criticising.

You'd think he was Colina the way the media always wants his opinion!

Another very strong penalty shout. Phil Dowd just isn't in any control of this match whatsoever. If a brawl broke out he'd probably just give all the players a stern talking to.

Yes ***** like him don't help matters at all, he always comes on sounding so smug as if his word is gospel, sounding really condescending and as you say generally trying to make a name for himself. He wasn't much better on the pitch, I actually remember one game where he looked round to make sure the cameras were on him before brandishing his card and giving the talking to. Bad refs have always been around but its even worse when they get shoved down your throat after they've retired.
 
Not sure why Reyes didn't walk for that one, it seemed a certain red card from my point of view...

It has been a good game so far, Wigan showing a lot of passsion, Arsenal showing a lot of class with the ball at their feet, the ref showing a lot of... well, twisted logic...
 
jeff winter is a complete ****** **** *** **** u can tell he was a ***** **** ref because when hes out in public he has to wear dark shades and big overcoat incase people spot him. *deep breaths*
