Yeah but don't people say they the same thing about shows like Stargate, Star Trek (all of them), Farscape, etc?

None of those shows are "epic". The only credible sci-fi TV show to me anymore is (or was) Heroes: Season 1.

but the wire is the most epic show of all time !

The Wire is also epic, but both are so different you cant really compare them. The Wire and BSG are probably my fave TV shows of all time, i doubt anything will come close for a very long time, if ever .

Also both had pretty low viewing figures . The American public just dont know a good TV show when they see one.

I remember being at the cinema watching Rocky IV - by the end of the fight the entire audience were standing and chanting "Rocky, Rocky" and throwing popcorn at the screen!!

Amanzing atmostphere - will never happen again I wouldnt have thought!
