They will be forced to finally be impartial, Which will not sit well with the Londoners. Thats the main issue London is populated by black marxists who cant be impartial and it flows into the website etc.

Hopefully once the knife goes in, They twist it snd move the HQ like i said move it to somewhere white and deprived and regenerate the area. Imagine the look on Linekers face when he has to work in Blackpool or Stoke.

:)

I'd love them to move here. I'd actually pay the licence fee if it meant Lineker had to make a full and frank public apology for all the snidey **** he's spouted about Stoke over the years.

Get the Gov petiton going, We need 100k sigs to get it debated in parliment. The reasons are obvious London does not need the regenerative effect that having a HQ and well paid staff would bring. Clearly the worst areas in Britain do need it so yea i will sign. :D

There's 7,000 BBC staff in Salford out of a total 19,000 UK staff.

9,000 in London.

What's your point? Is it in any way related to facts?

Salford is not on the poverty list is it? Also 9000 in London plus the mega rich makes no sense on a UK wise scale. Jaywick and Blackpool etc and many seaside towns badly need something since Brits now all go on un patriotic holidays to Spain.

You are upset that you as a BBC employee might have to move to a really bad part of the UK but it might open your eyes to life outside London and how others have very little while London caters to the welloff with every kind of facility imaginable. Thats why they call it the London bubble.

In not a BBC employee. The BBC pay my company money, as do several others. My company pays my wages. Is that complicated?

might have to move to a really bad part of the UK
A) We've closed our office and I doubt we'll be getting a new one; I work wherever I choose to live.

B) People won't move halfway up the country if they like where they live, they'll find other jobs near where they live...

I was born homeless and earned below minimum wage several years of my adult life. Just stop talking **** about what you don't know.

So to ask what your point is again, do you really believe the BBC are going to relocate to Blackpool, and expect more than a fraction of their talent to follow? You're just being flippant. Keep dreaming.

Well sorry but my point was not a dig at your wealth, It was the facilitys i stated that makes London not like most poor parts of the UK. Look at the stuff London has compared to the North its unfair. And if Boris moved it well those talents have no choice do they.

Gary will need to find a way to Stoke or someone else can take his place who will. Why should they get to dictate he is anyways a freelance not a BBC employee. But the way it is now Salford and London? Alien to places in NI Scotland and Wales. Thats the problem with multicultural citys they want to project that to people like me and expect me to pay for things i see as alien like 3:1 non white to white school pictures or black plumbers like last week. They literally seem to trawl Getty images to find someone to make the website diverse and they are doing it on every TV show as well.

Failure to buy a TV licence will be decriminalised very soon. Another nail in the coffin that should have been planted years ago.

If you have no communication with the BBC and Capita there’s nothing they can do.

You do have one way communication with the Beeb though, you watch all that BBC content, you said :P

London is exclusively "populated" by biased "Black Marxists" is it?

Where do you get these incredibly silly ideas?

I entirely agree that many of the operations based in London should be moved North. Personally I would favour Parliament moving to Middlesboro - I very much doubt that that will ever happen - which is probably a good thing for the people of Middlesboro ;)

This almost seems to suggest that the White, Tory, Etonian, Londoner, Boris Johnson has talents

I don't share your bizarre, irrational hatred of Gary Lineker or of anybody who isn't white and Northern.

It was already an unrecorded offence i believe, so what effect does this change really have on anyone?

i thought they had decriminalised it? wasn't there a thread about it?
must admit to being really naffed off about having to pay, i don't watch anything other than non-BBC/ITV freeview channels and Netflix. Think the last thing i watched on BBC was Peaky Blinders. £145 for 6 hours TV doesn't seem a good ratio to me.

Whilst the act of 'evasion' itself was merely a fine with no criminal record, failure to pay the fine could in theory escalate you all the way to a prison sentence. I'm not aware of anyone actually being imprisoned for it though.

The proposed changes would see it become more akin to private parking tickets or a debt, as I understand it.

They will probably get even more scammy and aggressive, like parking companies. But you'll be able to tell them to jog without any real consequence.

As a matter of interest, can just anyone, at just any time, without cost, watch Sky, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.?

Are there channels where one's enjoyment is not constantly interrupted with encouragement to buy something that you really do not need?

If the answer to either of these questions is "Yes" then I would love to hear about it :)

Those petitions are largely a waste of time. I don't know if you've ever watched the live feed when a petition makes it to parliment. There's no more than 10 MPs in the whole chamber, they read the title and summary, say a couple of words and move on to the next item on the agenda.
