Where does £999 come from?

Its the max amount, Stress and time and compensation. Where does any fee come from? Find me the law thay says you need to calculate the costs. Its up to me to set the amount if i say im stressed and angered about it and its making me feel like i need to pay to stop harassment who says i cannot ask for £999? Why would you pay £60 fee for SC to ask for £100?

The max amount for what? The fees for the small claims court starts at £25 and goes up to 4.5% of the maximum claim (£100k), so I don't see where this £999 is coming from.

You can't just make up the amount, either. What makes your stress worth £999? Why not £1000 or £10,000. You need to show evidence for this in your small claims application.

If you're so confident you'd win, why haven't you done it already?

Also, the small claims court won't help you with a harassment case.

If you don't watch live TV then what's the problem? Just tell them that at the doorstep and bid them good day. I wouldn't let them in personally.

Who knows if they try using dirty tricks, for example using the iPlayer app on a TV that can't be uninstalled. Aha! Gotcha!

Careful mate, you’ll get some posters talking about harassment and people trying to look through windows to catch you.

Of course he watches live TV. In these situations I find it better to respond saying they should quote the Magna Carta or something. It's what they're looking for.

Don't let them on the premises, fella. They have no right. Implied right of access something something.

Last time I got one turn up I answered the door and when they said who they were I just said. Not today thanks.

Shut the door and off they popped. Still get letter but never had another visit. Despite what the letters keep suggesting.
