TV Licence Super Thread

I might watch MOTD tonight for the first time in ages.

I simply do not have the time or inclination to watch a 1 hour programme late on a Saturday night where the action is interspersed with "analysis". If they are now only showing the match footage condensed into a 20 or 30 minute show then that is much more appealing to me.

Nothing against the presenters per se, but I do not have any interest in listening to chit chat. Show me the match footage then straight on to the next one. Job jobbed.

I wonder if they'll have that "Still to come" nonsense

I don;t know why Lineker as become a cult hero at the BBC. He was never a stand out player, more a goal hanger.

He's not worth his contract. The BBC should not renew his contract and give someone else a chance.

What they are saying is if you watch live broadcasts (excluding live bloggers/streamers) then you need one.

You don’t have to buy one just to use these services. (Except watching live)
So what about when amazon have the football, are you expected not to watch it if you don't have a TV license even though you've paid for the entire service?

Such presenters do have, however tenuously, to try and justify their obscene salaries, as best they can.

You still need a tv licence for live football though. It’s classed as live TV.

when i brought up LMG basically i was told i was wrong as he doesn't "broadcast", yet Amazon don't Broadcast but you claim you you do need a TV licence because football is "live TV" . but what i understand, and was pointed out to be "broadcast" over the airwaves
