You're only discussing it because he plays for United, if he played for Blackpool or Birmingham you wouldn't care.

it was broadcast in 211 countries, i said nearly 250 countries when i suppose what i should have said is over 200, is it really that big a deal, you're just being picky.
if you read the media and other things such as this, you'll see that everyone agrees apart from man utd fans, there is no argument, just facts. a lot of the same united fans who were calling for his head when he put you over a barrel.

I don't think anybody has bothered to mention it yet but Rooney's accepted his charge but is appealing against the 2 game ban, with his hearing to be heard tomorrow. The talk is that Utd hope to get it reduced to 1 game so he can play against City. It could have course be increased if the FA think Utd are wasting their time

The fact that he got a massively disproportionate punishment for the minor infringment of swearing?! Won't somebody PLEASE think of the children?!!!

He isn't being punished for any of the other incidents you list. And givien his history why is he still expected to be a role model?

He's not actually arguing a point. It's just a non coherent string of incidences. He speaks about media and fans being in agreement (ignores the none united fans who say 'actually I don't agree) Then brings up various incidents that are reported to have happened in Rooney's life with no reference to a context that might give any of his posts meaning, well, no more meaning than: Rooney charged EA to put his picture on FIFA therefore he has incumbent social responsibility, to be judged not by the people who choose to give him that money but by a seemingly ethereal weight of opinion. That's a fact.

Is that 211 countries a verifiable fact? or are you simply making stuff up again.

According to the World Atlas there are not 211 countries in the world.

The maximum seems to be 195 independent countries at this current time.

Are they broadcasting to secret human colonies on Proxima Centuri as well I wonder? :rolleyes:
