Is that 211 countries a verifiable fact? or are you simply making stuff up again.

According to the World Atlas there are not 211 countries in the world.

The maximum seems to be 195 independent countries at this current time.

Are they broadcasting to secret human colonies on Proxima Centuri as well I wonder?

http://www.worldatlas.com/nations.htm

If you cannot get something as simple as that correct, how are we supposed to take anything you say as fact with any confidence.

Stop being picky!

Rooneys outburst was witnessed by all those Countries and the tribes people of Bungu Bungu will never be the same again!

I dont normally agree with Gordon Taylor, but i think this time he has it pretty much spot on. A question i have is how much did sky get fined for broadcasting it? When ive heard about various people swearing on TV/Radio by accident isnt it normally the station gets fined for broadcasting it even if its live? I always thought that "live" TV has a slight delay, im sure when the political debates were screened last year there was a 10 second delay. Why in a situation where something like this can easily happen do they not have a few seconds delay? Im not a Utd supporter, but it makes me laugh when most of the people calling for his head are either Liverpool, Aresnal, Chelsea or Spurs (Ex)players, i wonder why they think Rooney should have a ban :D
He was wrong he said sorry as soon as he could, it wasnt directed at a player or official, maybe we should just have emotionless robots playing football.

Next on BBC2, Tribe with Bruce Parry.

"I'm deep in the Amazon, visiting the Bungu Bungu tribe. Look, here's the chief now."
"What, ****ing what?"

Please wont somebody think of the innocent children of Bungu Bungu!

When they are not killing each other, multilating their females genitalia, having sex with girls as young as 12, and cheating on their multiple wives.....

Heaven forbid they watched Rooney swear on TV, they might have to throw TWO virgins into the fire pit to appease the the Volcano god, not just the one.

hahaha.

Chief Abimbola of the Bungu Bungu tribe wearing his "Rooney" Man U shirt....

I think it is very socially minded of Rooney to teach tribal people the essence of the English Language. He should be rewarded for his social conscience and unselfish efforts in international development and relations.

err the facts that he

swore down the camera? - big deal when 50,000 (whatever) people in the ground are swearing also

the fact he elbowed someone in an off the ball incident? - this should be dealt with like anybody who does something like that

the fact he held united to ransom? - What? How?

the fact he cheated on his pregnant missus? - Not nice but a lot of young men have done the same

the fact he slept with granny hookers? - he was single (not married), so what?

Now if you want to batter him for something have a go at his useless effort in the last World Cup.

Stoke Fan.

In a statement issued on the PFA website, Taylor said: "Whilst the use of foul and abusive language is not condoned, there is an acceptance by all parties within the game that 'industrial language' is commonly used.

"It becomes an issue when directed towards match officials. However, when used in a spontaneous way in celebration or frustration then it is not normally expected to merit a sanction.

"If sanctions are to be imposed in such circumstances then this has to be done in a balanced and consistent manner, and participants made aware of this fundamental change in approach."

Thats from the PFA so its fairly easy to see that its not just united fans and the nutters that think the punishment is dodgy.

It's the fact that this is being enforced 7 games before the end of the season, if you want to do something about it make it a fair and even playing field and inform all teams before the season kinks off.

Not 7 games before the end of the season because public enemy number 1 has sworn!

dunno why hookers are being mentioned?

I thought he got a ridiculous ban for saying naughty words into a camera?

I mean where do you go with this? One match ban for a hand job, 3 months for a room full of granny's and a tube of Nutella?
