***TWO VERY SPECIAL MONITORS: HAZRO HZ27 Series!**

I'm Seriously thinking of getting one of these, but is there a lit of input lag on the WA model? it will only be used for gaming :D but i would like the extra inputs it offers so i can plug in the xbox as well

You are implying that the Apple cinema display uses CCFL, it doesn't. It too uses LED back lighting. Might be fair to edit the OP.

It's also implying LED backlighting in general provides more vivid colours than CCFL backlighting, which is false. Even more so as its an sRGB display.

Another thing i'm a bit worried about is how good dose the WC version handle lower screen resolutions?

I`ll be buying this screen for gaming but obviously I won`t be able to run all my games at this screens full resolution of 2560x1440 with the computer system I have mainly because of my graphics card.

Would a resolution of 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 or just a bit higher still look perfectly fine on this screen when gaming?

Thanks for responding.

Well i'm gonna be ordering the WC version today and so i`m hoping this screen will be a worthwhile upgrade from my HP ZR24w screen.

Can someone please answer my question in my other post above?

Thank You!

Surely a 480 will be enough if you turn down the AA! I was hoping to run this screen with a 5850 :S

As the pixel pitch is so small compared to other monitors you may be able to drop the AA, and gain FPS without sacrificing too much image quality.

That's what I was thinking.

Oh well, a second hand 5850 can be had for less than £100 now, Crossfire is always an option.

Kepler/Radeon 7000 will be here in 6-9 months, I can play less demanding games in the mean time :p

Yeh, I dont really want to get a new card right now, I'd much rather wait for the next gen. Looking at the techpowerup benchmarks, assuming my 5850 with the clocks its at equals a 5870, I'm sure it will cope.

I would be interested in this too - as I would be connecting a PC and an xbox360 to a monitor and 1080p is as far as the xbox goes

Well I have just toke the plunge and placed an order for the WC version.;)

I can't wait now to test it out.:D

Any chance anyone knows how much the HP ZR24w screen usually sells for secondhand? because I might put it up for sale in OcUK Member's Market.
