Type R and VTEC owners

Hi, they're in Fleet. Tom looks after my car, no complaints. Performance Autoworks in Fairford are highly recommended too. The engines can be tappety especially when cold.

Something is not right with the Accord. When I accelerate it pulls to the right slightly, then if I back off it pulls to the left. The only change is new tyres? Could it be pressures or something else at play?

Check pressures as I was having the same problem. Turned out my left was 24psi and right was 32psi. I still need to get my tracking sorted as 2nd gear VTEC the car really doesn't pull in a straight line I have to wrestle with the steering wheel.

Secondly, do a straight line brake test from 30mph on a quiet road just to see if it pulls on braking too.

I'd also check how the wheels are sat. May not be seated properly or something?
Spot on with tyre pressure, no idea what the monkeys at the garage were playing at:

Front left - 35
Front right - 25
Rear left 39
Rear right - 39

I think I do have a slow puncture on the front right as I'm pretty sure it's been low before. It's booked in at TGM on Friday for an MOT so will get them to have a look.

Car feels back to normal, still puts a smile on my face after not driving it for 2 weeks.

Love the FN2 and EP3 arguments.

Drive both and buy which you prefer?

I personally prefer the EP3, but that's my driving style.

Saying that if I had 9k or there abouts I'd not buy an FN2 that's for sure, it'll be worth about 5k in a year or so

Yeah I used to own a Milano 2004 facelift, I loved my GruppeM intake, glorious on VTEC :)

Quite looking forward to going back to something light and chuckable.

I adore the DC5s but have never been in one or even seen one in the flesh. I would actually consider upping my budget to get a good DC5 but given they all appear to be 200+ miles away its a long journey to view, let alone buy :(

Did you prefer your Tegs over the Civics?
I said DC2 not 5. And yes.

How much were you thinking about selling your ATR for when the time comes?

Not sure, it was listed for £2500 and I had plenty of interest.

I would love to keep it as it's been such a great car but with an Evo 9 on the drive (hopefully) I can't justify it.

So yeah anyone here want my Accord? Will listen to reasonable offers and would PX for something that is cheap to run.

I'll be putting it up for sale in about a week.
