I've got a problem with my Aircon.... it doesn't blow cold. I've had it filled up and then it all leaked out after like a day.

The garage told me it needs a new compressor, but when he was telling me that I was sure he was pointing at the radiator right at the front of the car.

If it does need this does anyone know how much it would be likely to cost?

Thanks,

G

And only taking a single space....

Yes brave.

The Mustang I had to take two spaces it was too big for one. :D

The M3 single space, nice car but not best bodywork so not fussed if it gains the odd small dint, likewise for the Jaaaaag.

911 however is unmarked and dent free, it is either parked in the furthest corner away or I look for an end space where I can park right on the line as I know no one will park that side of me. But if that is not available then I park like a **** :D

I bet it's the condenser. They are prone to leaks.

You can pick them up online for about £60. http://www.autoairconparts.co.uk/ca...l-man-auto-sep-01-to-sep-05-part-16-0002.html

Probably add an hours labour from an Indy to fit. You can do it yourself easy enough but it's a bumper off jobby.

Ah yeah that's the part he was pointing to that I assumed was a radiator. It does look fairly knackered, lost of fins missing.

Thinking about it he more than likely said condenser and I've remembered it wrong.

They filled the aircon up last time I was in and it leaked it all out in 24 hours.

Will get them to do it Saturday :)

Cheers,

G

Not rusty but yes looks like corrosion bubbling. Mines got a small bubble on the door bottom and the black window frame, fortunately doesn't grown anywhere as fast as steel. Surprised to see on an NSX of that age!

Quick shot of my old Type R in it's, erm, current state from the new owner.

And when I had it...

Miss it a bit but not the expense, saving a lot more with a cheaper steadier car now :)

Was gonna say, 2 of my mates have Fiesta ST's and another has a type r. They are pretty level cost wise. MPG, tyres, reliability etc
