Type R and VTEC owners

When it looks like this, then we can talk about 'swag' ;)

Muffin' has his DC2.. I have my FN2.. I walked outside Taggarts house the one morning to find the two of them admiring the Civic.

They seem to have a very well stocked selection of drive shafts available as well, not that we need them ;)

They were probably discussing where it all went wrong for the Type R brand. You can still buy a drive shaft for a 1990 CRX direct from Honda btw;)

Tim, random one here.

You managed to get stuck in silly traffic on both sides of the bypass and around lockoford/Sheffield road, due to all the road works that are staying for 6 weeks?

Heard on the radio today it is all for a bloody cycle lane.... 20minutes I was stuck earlier on a road that normally takes 1 minute to go down.

Triggers broom comes to mind with B series Hondas :/

Managed to source an engine... freshly rebuilt by Geoff @ RacingXS. So I'll have to whip that in then start the bedding in procedure all over again

How much it set you back Muffin?

£9k seems a lot of money for one, I would rather buy this one - http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/honda/s2000/honda-s2000-gt/1713068#

Looks a nice car but it needs to be from a garage and not private as i will be trading my civic in as well, in your opinion not worth paying a premium for a car with 20-30k less millage as long as its been serviced correctly with oil changes?

i do around 5k miles a year, and i am looking to keep the car a long time at least 5 years, so with 5k a year over 5 years thats going to put the car on over 100k miles, wont that hurt resale value?

if you keep a 2006 [7 year old] car for 5 years it will be 12 years old when you come to sell.

any residual value in the car will be based on market value at the time which is impossible to predict, and condition + service history.

not mileage.

a 10 year old vehicle with 100k on the clock is low mileage. so don't be worrying about it.

the pistonheads link above looks a superb car.

now lets get off the subject before i go and spend my house deposit on one. :(

somewhere to live < S2000

2.2 Type S GT-T y0 with sat nav

Need to look into some subtle mods, Type S or Type R. Very quick on the motorway and smooth and quiet.
