Type R and VTEC owners

The ride is really good on the Type S (FN3)

Its only the Type R that has a dreadful ride for the FN1/2/3 shape cars, the rest are pretty compliant and quite refined generally - nice cars if you're not bothered about performance.

Mine was unbearable on 18's at times I must be getting old, it kind of felt like you were nodding around in the car like a Thunderbird, but then I find the Accord too soft, I'll never be happy

The shame.

Geoff at RacingXS saw me right

No new rebuilt one, it's done 10 miles  the car then failed MOT on rust so he's going to get something else.

Third rebuild going into this car, if it goes again it's getting fire bombed

Went to look a this s2000 last saturday:
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...h/page/1/quicksearch/true/radius/40?logcode=p

it is the cleanest s2k i have seen, nearly immaculate bar a small 5p sized rust bubble on the drivers door which they said they would fix,

Trouble is, its done 29k miles, and from its first registration, to 2009, it apparently only did 1956 miles, with no service stamp, first stamp in 2009 with second owner at just shy of 2k, miles, what are the chances its been clocked? should i not bother?

2k miles in 3 years seems to ring alarm bells with me, its also got a budget set of tires all round. Also i know the seats wear pretty quickly on these cars, but the bolsters dont look very healthy for just 29k mileage?

no, looks fine. you need to remember that the s2000 is the perfect weekend roadster for a lot of people so there are quite a few examples with very low miles. they obviously command a premium. personally i would want an s2000 to have around 8-10k a year on it. ensures its well used too.

I personally wouldnt be looking at a 56/07 car if i had a 9k budget. you could be potentially in a 2009 car for that budget. either that or try and price down a dealer on a 10k car :D

this is nice

nice 08 car here

look on PH too

What are they like to deal with on cold frosty mornings? How are they to drive when you're pootling around and not driving at 10/10ths? What are they like on motorways?
