Type R and VTEC owners

The crashiversary Facebook comments were all gold too :D

That tegiwa claim the intake is for the fn2 is frankly a bit of a scam, isnt that skunk2 thing designed for a particular version of the usdm civic si? From reading around when i had my fn2 im sure it is. Now it can be made to fit, sure, that car has a fair few similarities that enable it too, but its certainly not an fn2 intake by design and should not be sold as such.

The intake is USDM fitment but fitted by the right hands its not a problem, Grinspeed have recently fitted one

Personally I don't understand why people go through all this trouble its a lot of money and messing around for a BHP

My fn2 drove pretty great to be fair but only after spending £000eeek. Bit of a disappointment as stock once the novelty had worn off, nice interior apart from the rattles. Much prefer the mx5 I have now to be honest, slower and totally different type of car but so much more fun.

Picked up a Bronze FN2 GT with Sat Nav + HFT other day, back in the VTECH club  Used to own an EP3, which I absolutely loved but had to sell up to fund our first home. To be honest, the FN2 is 100% better than an EP3 for everything, unless you genuinely think that you have driving skills equivalent to Michael Schumacher.

Only had it two days now, so not had chance to wash it or anything or even take my own pictures. Only problem I've got is the HID's fitted do not work properly and one of the wing mirrors doesn't fold in but both should be cheap fixes. Not planning on doing any cosmetic mods...maybe FlashPro in the future, but I really can't be arsed with loud exhausts/induction kits anymore so not sure the gain is worth it? My old EP3 had DC decat and BuddyClub Spec 4 on it, it was insanely loud (and annoying over time).

Picture of my old EP3, for old times sake :(

Cheers, just a shame it's been chucking it down; can't go play!

If you're well into the raw drive, then the EP3 is better, but then the EK9 is where you should be focusing in that case.

I only paid £6750 for this FN2 (57 plate) with 51k on and sat nav etc; I mean, providing this one doesn't blow up and/or breakdown, the amount they cost is just madness imo. Prem EP3's were selling for not much less. Not only that, insurance is well cheaper for me personally. Was paying just shy of £1,000 on the EP3 with 4 yrs no claims, now paying £401 with 6 yrs protected no claims, both with Adrian Flux. Only 28 as well.

Good luck finding an FN2 that suits :) Some later FN2's have LSD fitted from factory as well fyi, 09 on I believe.
