It's one of the best (and underrated) intakes on an EP3/DC5 etc, especially as you don't have to **** about cutting the scuttle panel and deal with rattles.lots of scene points though cos Mugen
You had an S2K before?
Was it the Ohlins R&T you had that are about £2500 for the kit?
Any harsher than stock?
Sorry I can’t remember which ones they are. I think there’s a massive thread on the subject on the S2000 forum.I guess, as I’ve not done this on one of these before what bushes do I need to replace on the basis of saying everything is seized so old ones need cutting out and any recommended actions for garages in midlands / northwest who have experience with S2000 ?
I generally drive the cars I own.To look at ?
The FD2 is used for track days mainly, but I don’t think I did any last year. I try and drive it once a month if I can. I was intending on doing more track days this year but that’s gone down the pan due to COVID-19. As has going for a drive in the lovely weather. So currently it’s sat in the garage with a flat battery. It was tongue in cheek as it’s hardly the time of driving cars for fun is it.
although I guess it touched a nerve as the FD2 does just sit around I guess ?
Exactly this, they so well and there's loads out there, so a complete minefield in terms of trying to find a decent one. And the ones which are decent tend to command a much higher premium. They're old Japanese rust boxes and not very comfortable for a daily. The decent ones have surpassed the price point of a daily / winter hack in my eyes. The lower end ones are normally abused, patchy history and full of rust.
Most of their parts catalogue is utterly ridiculous. I think an EP3 cat converter used to be about £3500. It probably still is, if they even make them any more.Should see the prices for the Fk2 injectors if you think that's bad lol.
Decent thread here:Anything to look out for on these?
Good luck getting an email reply from TGM haha. Best to call Tom after 5pm. Also drop Performance Autoworks a message.I've pinged Integrastella already, I'll try those two as well. Nice one thanks.
