For a more track focused car I would recommend Torco RTF and friction modifier – it copes with higher loads/temps better than OEM MTF
It's about as quick as any NA 2 litre. Not slow but it does need to be higher in the rev range to really make the power.power wise, is the FN2 at low revs quite slow when driving around town/ city?
No just my FD2, I'm just saying most Type R's feel special and the Euro R is a great car. When did you get a euro r? Any pics?
No, the M140i is on a PCP and I'll likely keep a car on PCP as I get a car allowance from work and I'm expected to be in something younger than 4 years IIRC. When the time comes I'll most likely get an M340i touring.Ah thought you replaced the m140i with the euro r lol.
They're two completely different cars. Have you driven them both?Has anyone compared the FK8 to the new Focus ST? I think it's between the two of them for my next car and could do with hearing from people who've been in both.
Tell me about it, it looks so bland in the silver colours.imola orange is another great colour! I'm actually surprised how many picked silver over the more punchy/fun colours for that were available.
Yes parts arecan be a bloody nightmare, owners are always having problems with windscreens as the insurance companies/fitters turn up with the Hybrid screen which is different. Part and parcel of owning an import I guess where there is no UK equivalent.I was fawning over FD2s a few years ago but after speaking with TGM they totally disuaded me. Servicing bits are okay but if you ever need bodywork or car-specific parts, the wait can be 12+ weeks. I suspect even something as beneign as the windscreen can be a nightmare to find a replacement for.
