Yeah, have done a bit more reading and seems like I'll need an intercooled one for track.

Probably the Rotrex Sport + Intercooler, otherwise the Supersport kit, but waiting to hear back on the differences between both and the power to expect from both as there's ~£1700 difference.

Whatever it is I get, will be done by TDI North. Likewise, if I buy an charged EP/FN then it'd be one that's done by a well known company.

Won't be going for any more than 350 though, at least not for a long time.

I fitted a TTS Sport charger kit for a mate roughly two months ago along with a HKS RSK, Tegiwa Manifold and maretelius exhaust and the car made 301 BHP. Paul (Tdi north) said the intake temps were too high to push anymore but if intercooled, he can expect to see gains of upto 60-80ish bhp so with a Super sport kit I dont think you'll have any issues achieving 350ish bhp

I'm looking to get mine done soon too as I've never fully polished or waxed it myself other than using Megs Cleaner Wax and polishing the front bumper/bonnet occasionally.

he has quoted me £180 which is a right bargain. seen some of his work and it looks spot on!

messaged me today though, needs it for another day due to the paint being so soft hes had to take his time more.

100% worth it in my opinion.

there are still a few scratches around the car, but due to the paint being so soft he said he really struggled and had to use his smaller DA for the whole car and took him an extra day!

they are moving units soon and having a little open day which should be fun. works with another lad who only details high end cars, so should be some nice metal around at the meet

Very nice indeed, is that standard price for the FN2 or did you have a deal or anything? I'd be tempted at that price even though Derby is an hour away so I'd have to get a train back and forth to leave it with them

Will see how my bootlid turns out and what price they give for paintwork at my local shop, but never a bad idea to have a backup, especially if they do a decent job.

Standard price, it was after paying him we realized we were friends with the same person.

My cheap EP3 is coming along mechanically now, needs very little now apart from brake and clutch fluid doing, coolant is quite recent so no point changing. Discs, pads, tyres all quite new. Today I've had done: oil & filter, air & pollen filters, NGK iridium plugs, gearbox oil, valve clearances/rocker gasket, fitted my Spoon N1 rep B pipe to match the back box.

Just a few dings to get sorted and a little bit of paint then I will be done and happy. Only had it 2 weeks so far so doing well

I have just bought an 03 shadow black ep3 type R and I am loving it!

Just moved back to the UK after expatting for 7 yeas. One of the first things I did was walk into arnold clark, test drive a new st3 and apply for finance. But seeing as we have been back for less than a week the girl said the computer would 100% say no to finance, and I really don't want to splurge having just moved with the costs and all that.

The very same evening I spotted an 03 type r in shadow black and test drove it the next day and bought it straight away for under 2 grand. Will post non portato pics soon. The engine is tight, vtect kicks in fine, but the throttle was sticking and the idle was going up and down. I cleaned the throttle body and both issues are fixed.

My plan is to daily drive it for the next year or so and then get it track ready.

It came with some rather pokey black alloys which I want to replace, and I want to get the front bumper resprayed as there are more than a few stone chips. Also would like to put a new exhaust on.

Any good second hand parts resellers I should look at apart from ebay?

Seeing as I've never owned a S2000 before, I bought one to play around with to go with my super charged FN2

Has a few nice mods on it too:

- HKS Silent Hi-Power Dual Cat Back
- HKS Lowering Springs
- AEM CAI Induction Kit
- Tegiwa Aluminium Alloy Radiator
- Rota Torque 17" Alloys (Bronze)
- Front Strut Brace
- Carbon Fibre Coil Pack Cover

It has the facelift soft top fitted with the glass screen but could do with replacing as it's ripped and the rear driver side arch is starting to bubble which I'll be getting sorted next week, besides that it's extremely clean, comes with stacks of paperwork with only 2 previous owners and is undersealed too. I was also given the standard parts such as exhaust, wheels, airbox etc etc, pretty chuffed with it so far
