Types of music that you hate

i only used to get worked up about music i didn't like when force fed radio1 for 8 hours a day (at an old job). now i really couldn't care less about any of it.

however, i must take this opportunity to register my distaste of the klaxons (yes i know it's not a type/genre :p). saw them on johnathan ross the other week. quite possibly the worst "performance" i've ever heard in my life. but i notice they seem to be popular judging by a few threads i've read on here....

Classical.. although they maybe talented, it hurts my ears... and in some cases, my eyes...

emo... screamy metal rubbish

most hated band of this year for me is Enter Shakari or whatever their called...

I really don't like, pop, trance/dance or whatever it's called, reggae, soul, hip hop, rap, operatic, boy/girl band, soft guitar music (Muse, McFly etc) and plenty more, but not being "with it" I don't know what it's called.

LONG LIVE ROCK AND METAL!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not big on death metal or black metal either to be honest. I just find stuff like Cannibal Corpse and Decapitation really boring and black metal just annoys me.

Metal is a form of rock.

I don't agree. It may have been when it was starting out, you can see where the derivative lies back when it was in its infancy. It is so far removed from music these days I hesitate to even refer to it in the Music forum, so calling it rock is, in my opinion, an insult to rock :)

Ah well when someone says metal I generally assume they are, loads of sub-genres in metal tbh. :p
And not all has screaming but they all suck ;)
