Ubisoft FarCry 5 'are you ready' thread just shown up....

well enjoying the game so far but there is a bug thats really annoying me....
wonder when it will be fixed....

the games brightness is messed up,, its like in SD normal mode not HDR its using the wrong brightness when coming out of dark area`s into bright area`s the effect seems to be way to white lol

anyone else noticed this......

could be caused by the HDR implementation within the game.
 
loving the game so far, cheeseburger is ace as a buddy! runs really well too. the only annoying thing playing on hard is if u do screw up sometimes u can start you WAY back from where you were!, Then again, our fault for dying :P
 
Spent a few hours on this last night. I loved FC3, mainly because of the soundtrack and theatrical feel I got from the game. FC4 I finished everything in but it felt like more of a grind. FC5 so far, just feels like they've bolted a very loose story onto a technically well put together open world shooter. But saying that, I'll certainly be giving it a lot more time over the next few days and we'll see where it goes.

Side note - amazed at how well it runs on my relatively modest rig, averages 55fps at 3440x1440 on ultra settings. i7/16gb/1070ti.
 
I played for about an hour last night and so far really like it. Looks great maxed out on my PC (1080P) and runs nice and smooth. So far only really seen the starting area but there was plenty to do and find, having an AI companion is nice and I'll be interested in seeing how you can use them, especially as you level them up and they gain not abilities.

Yes, straight away it looked way overbright, I moved the brightness slider to the left & it darkened the settings page but when I clicked back to the game it had made no difference whatsoever,contrast darkened it a bit however. I thought it was my new Monitor playing up but apparently not. I ended up lowering the brightness in Nvidia settings

It is annoying having them all and I hate Uplay, I used to hate Origin but it annoys me less lately. However, I think Steam needs some competition. Steam and Valve do not seem as altruistic as they used to be (where's our HL episode 3 you liars?). And once Gabe is gone - and he doesn't look like the healthiest man alive - whoever takes over Steam will have truly diabolical power, which they will almost certainly use to make more money money money! EA are worse of course.

You might be missing out on some top games too - after years of increasingly disappointing reskins of the same Assassin's Creed game every year like fifa, the current AC Origins is actually brilliant (I think they took a two year break instead of just churning out annual flim flam). And this Far Cry 5 is starting to look pretty tasty...
