Ubisoft FarCry 5 'are you ready' thread just shown up....

Anyone know how I can add the language pack (which I deselected at the start) without uninstalling & then downloading the game again from Ubisoft ?

EDIT: found how to do it, the game just downloads the pack

Just set FC5 up in my Steam library and fired up the SteamLink, worked straight away, didn’t even need to configure the XBox pad it recognised it without me needing to do anything. FC5 also looks really nice upscaled to 4K.
Ah nice cheers , would this work with a ps4 pad too then do you think? Some external steam games don't (

The arcade is an awesome addition to the game, I'm just about done finishing off one part of the map cult leader, 4 hours in so far.

 That's very quick I thought I'd done it fast at 7 hrs! I was expecting a lot more playability in that section tbh. FarCry 4 lasted me 80hrs in all so I hope the subsequent sections last longer.

I’m on the brothers part I’ve still got the other two to do yet

If I had one complaint at the moment, it would be that its a bit too easy. I'm playing on Hard but its too easy to pick people off with the sniper rifle or bow and I am just breezing through all the areas. I can see what people mean when they talk of doing an area quickly, as I mentioned earlier in the thread - the map does seem quite small compared to other similar titles, dont know how big it is in Km2 or anything, in comparison to others. But it feels small. Very good looking though for a fairly small install.

Agree with everything. Having just finished FC4 the FC5 map is no way larger imo - I am now clearing out the remaining smaller quests from the first area before I proceed onwards just to avoid burning out the content too quickly. I was hoping that 26gb download size was compressed but alas no.

I found FC4 a LOT more difficult to get into and it took me a solid 15hrs before I felt 'comfortable' , mind you that could be because I was hunting nonstop to be able to craft bigger inventories (via animal skins), something which FC5 has done away with to allow for a quicker start. Don't get me wrong, I am hugely enjoying the game but I can't see me squeezing out the same length of gameplay I had previously.

Is there a 4th extreme game difficulty like in Ghost recon: Wildlands? That's the difficulty which actually makes the game challenging.

On a mission to destroy Jacob's Helicopters, been running up mountains popping off rifle rounds to thin out the herd then wingsuiting down to an outpost, collecting ammo etc and now found a seaplane! If you can't beat em, join em!

The most enjoyable mission by far.

Wait, you don't get to craft stuff?
Crafting of 'syringes' or boosts is still in, as well as moltovs and remote bombs. They've done away with the hunting of 10 damn badgers etc to increase your wallet/inventory/quiver etc size.

im enjoying this im on the last mission of the first area and the game is fun, seems a lot easier than FC3 though at the moment.

Put on hard, turn off all indicators/tagging/notifications - will make it more enjoyable. The game is easy if you have warning signs for everything.
