UEFA Champions League/Europa League 1/2/3 April *** Spoilers ***

Indeed

Whats that like compared to some of the top scorers

Bit worse, Messi/Ronaldo usually around the 1 in 3-5 depending on the year, RVP in the 1 in 4-6 range.

Ronaldo worse than usual last year or two 62 goals 435 shots :p 1 in 7 ish.

This year its 59 in 318 shots, the top guys shoot a LOT, the high scoring rate isn't coming from small numbers of shots being taken.

Messi has always been more accurate but then Ronaldo shoots a hell of a lot more than Messi from the 30+ yard range, probably averages 2-3 freekicks a game shooting from 30+ yards that Messi doesn't taken on which with a low score rate makes up probably most of the difference.

Messi has 23 goals in 125 shots but in the league alone, which is what Robben has in all competitions.

Are you lot actually serious? Every single european team dives for fun at every single opportunity.

Taste of their own medicine, well done Rooney.

Great dive by Rooney, wonder what the fuss would be made if it was a german who did that

It doesn't matter, he was going to be impeded if he didn't 'dive' over him anyways, yeah he milked it like a nob, but it was a yellow and foul regardless.

If Bayern swan dive for the first Valencia yellow, they can't complain when the same happens to them.

The depths to which football has sunk is pretty depressing though

The tackle was late but Rooney forced the card by going down in a heap - probably could have ridden it.

Credit to United, still in the tie.

1-1 still in the other tie... FT.

Interesting.
