UEFA Champions League/Europa League 1/2/3 April *** Spoilers ***

Fair play to Man U tonight , they have done well to stay in it tonight. On tonights performance I'd say they have a fighting chance in the Allianz

Impressed really, expected us to get hammered but we made a good game of it (considering the team we were against). Still in the game!

Moyes should get credit for nailing the tactics.

Fellaini and Welbeck let him down, but overall v good performance.

Lmao if you think Man U aren't going to get bummed in the second leg.

Past four times an english team have gone to the Allianz they haven't lost.

I can't see Bayern not scoring at all but if they play Hernandez early instead of Welbeck they might have a chance of scoring a few and obviously set pieces are a massive threat looking at the way they defended that corner.

Don't think these teams are suited to put out Chelsea/United, they crowd their box and its pretty hard to penetrate it and stick a fast guy up front to create problems. I don't see the alternative either, sit back and hope they gain confidence and come forward, with a bit more pace or someone like Suarez is might be easier to get in :p

Really proud of the whole team, Moyes made a very good selection considering injuries and tactics and the whole team turned up from the first whistle and played like s top quality team

BM Out-pased Utd, but that was to be expected to be honest, but apart from the goal (which was a little soft defensively even considering the opponants), BM didnt really produce many really good quality chances.

I honestly didnt give Utd a chance but I couldnt be prouder tonight, and IF Utd can score first next week anything can happen and I wouldnt bet against a high scoring draw.

but if they play Hernandez early instead of Welbeck...

Couldn't disagree more. Utd aren't good enough to get on the ball, dominate the game and create chances. They need players that will run themselves into the ground and can provide an outlet on the break. Without Welbeck today would have been far easier for Bayern. I saw somebody else mention playing Mata instead of Valencia too and the same applies.

Taggart used to get dogs abuse for playing Welbeck and Valencia but I think this season's shown the reason why he did. Without those 2 Utd have no legs in their side.

and played like s top quality team

No, they played like a small team playing a top quality team. Utd played in the same way you'd expect Cardiff to play when they play Utd.

It was a respectable performance and to a lesser extent result but it wasn't the performance a top quality side puts in.
